The assembly was fairly easy - it was only slightly awkward because we needed a California King size, so all the parts were bigger. The deliveryman kindly agreed to take it the several long boxes to our 2nd floor, thank goodness. The frame is great quality for the money - I shopped around a lot and didn't find anything nearly as nice for the price. The slats were of a lesser quality wood, and had big knots in the wood, but there were enough of them and they don't show, so that it didn't matter. The shape of the headboard and the legs are sleek, and it looks very nice in our bedroom. Amazon.com had the best price and the shipping was free. The bed arrived in record time, a full week before the estimated delivery date. It's really beautiful, sturdy and well-made. Exactly as described. I had a friend help me put it together and would recommend two people for the job although it is very easy to assemble. The second pair of hands just made it easier because it is big - I'm a small woman - and a bit cumbersome. It could be done by one person though as it is not at all complicated. Assembly took about 20 minutes. Overall, this was a great experience. |
